Flexibility is a must as an entrepreneur. You constantly need to adapt, shift gears, and move along in a market that never stands still. Luckily, that’s exactly where Jenthe Van Houdt excels. As co-founder and coach at Work-Out, she not only knows how to deliver custom workouts, but also how to adjust herself, to people, situations, and challenges, again and again.

And yes, you can take that quite literally: this Limburg native is highly adaptable. We’re proud to introduce the athletic mind and energetic force behind Work-Out: Jenthe Van Houdt.

FROM PODIUM TO POWER

Movement has always been part of my life. As a child, I stood on the mat doing gymnastics. Soon after came dance, horseback riding, swimming… At one point, everything started to become too much. I had to make choices, and I chose acrobatic dancing.

That decision brought me to places I had never dreamed of: multiple Belgian and European titles, performances at home and abroad, a professional dance career, and later a role as coach in various dance associations. I lived for the stage, but I also felt that eventually there comes a moment when things have to shift. My passion for dance evolved into a drive for a new athletic challenge. I started diving into strength training: how do you build muscle mass? How does your body burn fat? How much rest do you really need to get results? All of it began to fascinate me.

After completing my elite sports education, I started working as a coach in a gym, grew into a manager role, and discovered how much energy I gain from guiding others. Not just in becoming fitter, but in gaining confidence in their bodies, their rhythm, their abilities.

Today, sport is more than just what I do, it’s who I am. My day begins and ends with it. And the best part? That I now get to share this passion with Work-Out. As a coach, but also as an entrepreneur. Because making people stronger, that’s what I do. Every day, again and again.

DUMBBELL OR RUNNING SHOES?

Strength training became a way of life for me. What started with fitness soon evolved into CrossFit, where the challenge was just that little bit higher and I constantly pushed my limits. On top of that came Thai boxing, and for a while my days were filled with all kinds of intense sports moments.

After years of training and practice, I crossed paths with Ignace, a passionate triathlete who introduced me to endurance sports. Today, we’re not just partners in life, but also in sport. We train together, every day again, with our triathlon goals in sight.

My roots lie in short, explosive and high-intensity disciplines, which is exactly why I feel at home in shorter triathlon distances, where you push your heart rate to the max. Ignace, on the other hand, chooses long distances, where endurance and planning are key. Two different styles, but one shared drive.

We motivate each other, day after day. And that’s exactly what we aim to do with Work-Out: support, encourage and inspire people to reach their own athletic goals, at their pace, using their strengths.

MAKING IMPACT WITH WORK-OUT

A short and accessible workout can make a world of difference. Whether that’s at your home, in the living room, in the garden, or at work with colleagues. Movement fuels energy, focus and confidence. Whether you’re training for a marathon, trying to get a little fitter, or want to enjoy a family workout that’s actually fun.

As a coach, I help you get what you need: functional training, boxing, bootcamps, tailored support, or sport-specific goals like triathlon. With the right equipment and approach, I come to you, literally and figuratively.

And companies can join in on that momentum too. Because healthy employees are more productive, take fewer sick days, and feel better in their bodies. When they move together, team spirit naturally grows. Win-win for everyone!

Movement doesn’t have to be a giant leap, it starts with just one session, one goal, and one coach who thinks along with you.

WHAT PIECE OF ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUR 10-YEAR-OLD SELF?

“Don’t doubt yourself too much. You’re stronger than you think, and you don’t have to do everything perfectly to move forward. Trust your gut and dare to dream big, the rest you’ll figure out along the way!”
